  Was on vacation awhile back and headed home back to Arizona. I stopped here for a pit stop, fuel, and snacks. Fuel area was clean, for the most part. Pump card reader worked ok. Squeegees were in need of replacement, as was the "water" that was in the basin. Bathroom could have used a quick policing to take care of the errant trash and full garbage can. Employees were friendly seemed distracted with conversations with other customers that, to me, seemed more personal than business related. I decided to forgo my snacks and just head on down the road.

  I want to give the Staff and Director Manager Kara of the Maverik in Bethany, MO a shout out! During an end of the day trip from Lawrence, KS to Des Moines, IA, I had begun nodding off so got off the highway and took a small nap in the parking lot of their Maverik. After regaining some energy I went inside, freshened up and was going to buy some snacks. The woman working the store at the time was eager to check out my items but I elected to use the self check out instead. This is the moment I must of sat my wallet on the counter and ended up leaving it behind. The next morning literally minutes after I had just noticed that I did not have my wallet, I receive a message on Facebook from Director Manager Kara letting me know they had my wallet!! I think it was really awesome of her to take the time to use all resources available to make sure I got my wallet back!! Thank you for going above and beyond!! I make the drive back to retrieve my wallet which was safely enclosed in an envelope. I was honestly surprised to find I still had my cash in the wallet!! Thank you Maverik for being a business of Integrity and for having great customer service! I wish you all the most success!! 🙌

  If you are going to advertise Maverik rewards, it doesn’t make any sense not to honor them

  I went in to ask why the pump price wasn't correct and I had to wait for the workers to finish the conversation amongst themselves before I was acknowledged.  When it was finally my turn to speak the worker said hatefully "what do you want". Overall it was a terrible experience.  I would not return here.  But I am reporting the fraud of the false advertising. Because it is against the law to falsely advertise a price to draw customers in. I reported the false advertising to the corporation and they claim that the price on the sign can be correct if you use a nitro card. This is not explained anywhere and the employees were not aware of this so I believe that to be false information as well. The company is aware that they are falsely advertising to mislead customers. After reaching out to the company I was transfered to the company Maverick that owns this Kum and Go. They refused to give a statement on the knowledge of their false advertising and continued to hang up on me. I reported the fraud to the BBB and government fraud website and I would encourage others to do the same.

  Falsely advertising gas prices to match the price across the street. They claim that their sign is broken but it always conveniently matches the price as their competitor. The price at the pump was $2.99 per gallon and they advertise $2.69.
