Extremely informative about options and what was needed. Took the time to show me what my cabin air filter looked like and were clear about prices and how long it would take. Excellent customer service, would come back and recommend!

Zack and Jesse did a great job with our Corolla. Quick, kind, and Zack had some great suggestions for me to try on my Ford Ranger that’s having issues at home.

First, I understand no one is perfect. There was one other person in line before I got there. I did not select a line to see pace. I was told to go to line 2. Line 1 had someone, so that made sense. Someone came and joined line 3, then another for line 1. The person waiting when I arrived apparently needed some paperwork and left. So the 2nd in line 1 is now 1st. Bays 1 and 3 open before mine and I was there before all of them. Lady did tell me mine was going to open in 60 seconds, so I said I would wait. Maybe 5 minutes later, I can move in. I heard the manager say a particular associate was not keeping up and they needed help. And of course, thats my bay. She did not know anything about hybrids. So, the manager guided her. Fine. We all have to learn, but when they are ready to send me out the door, my tires are still not done. I knew they weren't. I had a pressure light on and even if I missed them checking, knew it would go off when right. I pointed it out 2 times and was told they had been checked, I just needed to drive it. I knew that wasnt true. So I left and drove to the quiktrip down the street and found one of my tires at 24 lbs. It should have been 36. So I now had to fill it. One of the reasons I chose to go to valvoline tonight was because of was taking a 600 mile road trip tomorrow. I was due for a change in 500 miles , so opted to do before. It was as expensive as the dealer and you don't get the same expertise or history records as the dealer has. I removed a star because I know the tires had not been checked and the girl who was working on my car lied when she said she did. She was behind and didnt want to acknowledge she had forgotten..No way I lose 12 pounds in 2 blocks otherwise. It was my first time at this location and the manager was the only one with excellence or urgency on her mind. Also, they sucked my oil out. Idk if that is normal with hybrid, but Idk if they got it all or just some and topped off. The last one there after I arrived left first.

My wife took our vehicle and paid a few hundred dollars for a rear diff service. During that service they overfilled the diff by about a quart. This caused the left rear axle oil seal to fail and diff fluid to start leaking around that seal onto the wheel. I replaced that seal myself and opened the fill plug on the rear diff to refill what i had lost. Imagine my suprise when after a leak, a whole quart of fluid came out. I called valvoline and reached Ms. Max the manager. I asked about their process for filling the diff and found out it was to fill from the vent on top (after sucking out as much old fluid from that vent as they could get) not the fill plug. This is a problem because it means that they could overfill it, or miss any metal shavings that the owner would need to be notified of. I submitted a claim with Ms. Max which included information to find the date of the service which was ~6 months ago. I got a call 20 min later with the same manager and customer care claiming that the camera showed that they filled it from the plug. That is a lie. The plugs paint was unmarred by tools and was factory tight when I removed it to refill. Furthermore the crushwasher for that plug should have been replaced if the fill plug had been removed and IT still had factory paint on it. Ms. Max then insinuated that I perhaps did not keep up on my differential maintenance despite having the service done 6 months previous. She also tried to say that I did any offroading, it would somehow teleport more diff fluid into the system than was put in (supposedly). Ms. Max then she told me that since I had already touched the system they would not be held liable for any damage. My only option WOULD have been to have had the vehicle towed 60 miles back to that store for THEM to inspect. Not even a dealer would have been satisfactory for their liability purposes. They have the audacity as a lube shop to demand that they be the first stop on any vehicle maintenance or repair in order for them to admit their mistake. I would have been satisfied with 50 dollars for parts and my time. So dont go to Valvoline for ANYTHING. Because they will break your car and then deny responsibility because you didnt have the car towed 60 miles to that valvoline for THEM to look at it. If they did this to me, both a veteran AND one of their former employees, they WILL do it for you. Pictured is the excess fluid drained out of the diff.
