  I went to this Dobbs to get a simple tire patch because there was a nail in it. They told my wife they couldn’t patch the tire because the nail was outside the tread area, which was fine, but then they pressured her into agreeing to replace both back tires—even though the car only has 5,000 miles on it. They initially tried to charge $550, then dropped it to $365 after some back-and-forth. The whole situation felt shady, and they couldn’t give a clear reason for replacing the second tire. It’s frustrating to feel rushed into a costly decision without proper explanation, especially when the tire was still almost new. I don’t trust this place and won’t be coming back.

  I just moved to the area and needed a new mechanic. This Dobbs has been fantastic to work with! They have the best customer service and were able to get my car in quickly. I will definitely be returning for all future services.

  The only problem I felt they failed was great customer service. Going an extra step to assist removing and replacing the tire in the car. I'm older and strength I dont have. I mentioned it to the counter guy for assist but was ignored. Maybe his next opportunity he can be more of a gentleman and help an elder out.

  Typical ripoff repair scenario. Came in for a state inspection and emission because they had a conveneint time that my normal mechanic couldn't get to. Pretty standard process. They took over an hour and a half to complete the safety inspection and were very very thorough. Too thorough. They were looking for something, anything that would cause a fail so that they could charge to fix it. I understand an unsafe car is dangerous, but if you give any newly certified mechanic and hour and a half digging all over your car, lifted, with the tires off they will find something that needs to be repaired, fail the inspection and try to charge you for the repair. Think about it. I paid $36 for an inspection but they can't recoup that $36 to have their mechanic inspect the vehicle for an hour and a half. So in order to recoup the cost they least need to find some damages to the vehicle to cover the hour and a half rate for their mechanic. It's a business I understand and they will disguise the requested repair for the sake of road safety. But that's a scam. Now I know why they call this place "Dobbs/Robs" for a reason.

  I noticed shreds of metal sticking out of my tire and immediately drove to Dobbs. They were so nice even though I did not have an appointment. Also the last people to do my tires, messed up the lug nuts, the men at Dobbs spent a lot of time and effort trying to get them off! Thank you!!!!
