- DQDaniel Qdini5 days ago1.0in 2021 I had my oil changed here at the Arnold location and they stripped my plug at the time I did not know I could call and make a complaint. so I never went back. this was a 2016 subaru forester. I recently bought a pre certified 2024 outback. with 3,000 miles my first oil change I went to Walmart and the do not remove you oil drain plug the pump it out through the dip stick. I heard that's not good. so I brought it too valvoline for the 2nd oil change. since. Owning the car. I immediately noticed the very next day.oil on my driveway. it was leaking so I brought it back and they said it was oil on the frame from when they drain the oil that got on the frame. I had looked at it my self, I know alot about cars, but I was like OK and took it home. right away I seen oil on the driveway so I gave it a few days it got worse. so I decided too see if they had a customer complaint number. surprising they did. so I explained what was going on and now im at valvoline where they are going over everything they changed the oil had me run it. they are giving me full attention to make it right. I do appreciate that. they found that one of there Tec's stripped the drain blug. they decided to tap the oil plug because they stripped the threads. I contact a subaru dealership, and they said that they need to replace the oil PAN. In order for my warranty to be valid! Now I'm dealing with a major headache. Thanks to Valvoline, unprofessional Unexperienced, employees. never take your vehicle that's new under warranty to Valvoline. Actually don't take it to any place other than the dealership while your vehicle's under warranty. You'll screw yourself and they really don't care about you

So much for the “15 minute” oil changes because it’s taking them like 40. Don’t waste your time at this location
