  I went to get an oil change at another location, they told me I needed my air conditioner cleaned out (idk official terminology), they sent me to a Woodbury location that had the machine that specific work needed. That location didn’t have it when I arrived so they called this location and they said they had it and for me to come there. I headed to the third vavoline location. They started working on it, after 25 minutes or so they came and told me their machine is broke and I’ll need to go to Bloomington to see if they can fix it. I explained to the manager Riley that I had been to three different locations and wasted 30 minutes here with no resolution. I asked if Vavoline was able to offer a discount or coupon because of the hop around, miscommunication and time, he said no, it wasn’t there fault, my time isn’t his concern, etc. his attitude was extremely aggressive and rude so I asked for his managers name or number to let them know how he responded. He told me to leave now or he will call the police on me and tress pass me, he’s don’t it times before he will do it again. He told me to leave a google review. I asked a worker what his name was and he gave it to me and I left. Horrible experience. Horrible treatment. Horrible management.

  Headline: Exceptional service and teamwork—Gavin is a rockstar! ​I had a truly memorable experience with Valvoline recently that easily ranks in my top 5 customer service moments. It was nearly 5:00 PM on a Sunday, and I desperately needed an oil change, but the Oakdale location was out of my specific filter. ​Gavin at Oakdale went completely above and beyond. Instead of just sending me on my way, he jumped on the phone, called the Woodbury location, and coordinated with them to ensure they could squeeze me in before they closed. ​When I arrived at Woodbury, I was immediately greeted and waved into the bay. They already had all my information ready to go! The team there was incredible—the techs working under the car spotted a slight leak and the lead technician took the time to explain the best and worst-case scenarios. He even provided market-value price estimates and referred me to a trustworthy local mechanic. ​I left with more knowledge about my vehicle and total peace of mind. Both locations were professional, honest, and transparent. I’ll definitely be back soon to get my AC recharged. Thank you, Gavin, and the entire Woodbury closing crew!

  Once again, I had an exceptional experience getting services today at Valvoline in Woodbury!! The professionalism, friendliness, expertise, ability to communicate unfamiliar concepts in a way that makes sense to me is all fantastic. I highly recommend this location though honestly, I am always pleased with the service I get at all the Valvoline locations. Zac annd Alec were amazing!!

  The manager Ashley was great and she was extremely thorough. Checked all my lights and blinkers. They were all friendly and professional.

  I wish I could remember the name of the technician who directed my oil change. He was so good! When he changed my cabin filter, he showed me how to take my glove box out & put it back in, and he cleaned it for me! He explained everything & was very friendly & professional. He even told me where to go to get services for other issues with my car. I’ve used Valvoline for many years & have always been happy. This time topped them all!
