He had no knowledge that the engine has to be running so the water pump can fill up the hoses and engine block. I've been driving around with no heat ever since I did a radiator flush. This is the last time I ever will give this place my money!!!

Shortly after an oil change on my 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid, my car lost oil pressure, failed on the highway during heavy traffic and a snowstorm, and completely shut down. This was a dangerous and terrifying situation. When I was towed back to this same location, I spoke with Tiana, who identified herself as the manager. Instead of offering any help or concern, she was dismissive, rude, and made it very clear that the location had no intention of taking responsibility. I was repeatedly told that “nothing could be done” and that I needed to prove their fault myself by going to another shop. There was zero empathy or support—even though I was still sitting in the tow truck with my car on the flatbed. Later, a certified repair shop confirmed that the oil filter and gasket were damaged due to improper installation, and that the issue was entirely caused by Valvoline’s service. Despite being told by Tiana that “the cameras were reviewed and everything was perfect,” this was clearly not true. This location did absolutely nothing to help resolve the issue. The only reason this situation moved forward at all was because of Valvoline’s corporate customer service, who were far more professional and helpful than the staff at this store. Please think twice before trusting your vehicle at this location. If something goes wrong, do not expect accountability, assistance, or basic customer care. Mistakes can happen—but the way this location handled the situation was unacceptable.
