VERY pleased with One Up Debt Repair service!
His business, as far as I’m aware, is not open on Saturdays; however, he met me one Saturday morning to observe the repair needed for my vehicle at a time that worked for me.
He was very honest. He told me upfront what he could not do, and then explained what he could do at a very reasonable price.
It’s SO nice to see a fine young gentleman run his business with such stellar customer service! I’ll be more than happy to return to this business if needed in the future and also to share with others the service he provides.

Completely satisfied with One Up. Zac got me in quickly, was very clear on the work he would do (I had turned into a shopping cart corral scuffing up both doors on the passenger side of my Subaru) and quoted me a very reasonable price. Happy to support a small business.

I’m so glad to have discovered One Up Dent Repair. Zac Stone did a fabulous job repairing a dent in my GMC Sierra truck - particularly challenging with black paint. Looks fabulous! I highly recommend Zac for his excellent work and his personable customer service!

Ten stars if I could! I had a significant dent on the front driver side fender where my wife accidentally hit the garage door frame. The car is a 2013 Nissan Altima..so I didn't want to spend a lot to repair it..nor did I want to file an insurance claim. Zac did an absolutely amazing job of removing the dent in just 2 days at a fraction of what a body shop would cost. The car looks great..he repaired some door dings and another more minor dent. Besides doing great work, he's a super nice and friendly young man. I highly recommend him and One Up Dent Repair.
Frequently Asked Questions About One Up Dent Repair
How does paintless dent repair work?
Paintless dent repair removes dents without sanding, fillers, or repainting by carefully massaging the metal back into shape from behind the panel. This preserves your factory paint and protects resale value. At One Up Dent Repair, we use specialized tools ideal for door dings and minor non-collision damage throughout White Bear Lake.
What's the benefit of mobile dent repair?
Mobile dent repair brings the service to your home or workplace, eliminating the need to leave your vehicle at a body shop. It's ideal for busy professionals and families who need quality repairs without the downtime. One Up Dent Repair maintains high PDR standards in a mobile format across the east metro area.
Can hail damage be fixed without repainting?
Yes, many hail dents can be removed without repainting using paintless dent repair when the paint isn't cracked or chipped. This method removes multiple dents across panels while preserving the original finish. At One Up Dent Repair, we specialize in hail damage caused by Minnesota storms.
When should you schedule hail damage inspection?
You should schedule a hail damage inspection as soon as possible after a storm event to assess the extent of dents early. Early evaluation helps with insurance claims and prevents further issues. One Up Dent Repair serves White Bear Lake and surrounding communities during Minnesota's hail season.
Does paintless dent repair affect resale value?
No, paintless dent repair actually protects resale value because it preserves your vehicle's factory paint and original finish. Traditional body shop repairs that involve repainting can lower value compared to factory paint. PDR is faster and maintains the integrity of your vehicle's appearance.
What's the difference between paint correction and detailing?
Paint correction uses machine polishing to remove swirl marks and imperfections, restoring clarity and depth to the paint. Exterior detailing focuses on cleaning and removing dirt, salt, and grime. At One Up Dent Repair, paint correction is ideal before applying ceramic coatings for maximum shine.
Why is ceramic coating popular in Minnesota?
Ceramic coating is popular in Minnesota because it helps protect vehicle paint against harsh road salt and winter debris while enhancing gloss. The protective layer makes routine washing easier during tough weather months. One Up Dent Repair recommends pairing it with paint correction for best results.
Can motorcycle tanks be repaired without repainting?
Yes, motorcycle tanks can often be repaired without repainting using precision paintless dent repair techniques. Specialized tools work on tighter curves and smaller surfaces to maintain the original factory finish. One Up Dent Repair serves motorcycle owners throughout the Twin Cities area with this service.
How does winter salt damage car paint?
Winter salt creates corrosive buildup on paint that can dull the finish and cause long-term damage if not removed regularly. Road salt residue traps moisture and contaminants against the surface. Exterior detailing removes this buildup and is an important maintenance step in Minnesota climates.
What causes swirl marks on vehicle paint?
Swirl marks are typically caused by automatic car washes, improper washing techniques, or abrasive materials contacting the paint. These light imperfections reduce the clarity and shine of your finish. Paint correction through machine polishing removes swirls and restores depth to the paint surface.
Is paintless dent repair faster than body shop work?
Yes, paintless dent repair offers faster turnaround than traditional body shop repairs because it doesn't require sanding, filling, repainting, or drying time. Most minor dents can be completed in hours rather than days. One Up Dent Repair prioritizes quick service without compromising quality.
What type of damage works best for PDR?
PDR works best for door dings, minor dents, and non-collision damage where the paint isn't cracked or severely stretched. It's ideal for hail damage and small impacts that haven't broken the paint surface. At One Up Dent Repair, we assess each dent to confirm PDR suitability.
