It has been a week of runarounds, rescheduling, and a waste of time. Due to my current situatiion, I preferred a mobile service and installation so I opted for Safelite.
My initial appointment was scheduled for Wednesday, 02/25 between 12-5pm. The technician Jesus called me in the morning about a possible reschedule of the mobile service and windshield replacement, due to the cold. That was understandable and I rescheduled for Friday, 02/27 between 12-5pm again.
Friday came along and I have been waiting all afternoon for someone to show up. At 4:30pm, the technician Kenny finally called me and informed me that he had just received my work order, after waiting all afternoon for work to do. Then he also had to return to one of his postponed appointment from earlier on the day. I understand it was towards the end of the day, especially on a Friday too, but he didn't seem to want to come out for my work order.
Then he rescheduled me for the following morning Saturday, 02/28 and said that he would be out first thing in the morning. I told him that was OK, as long as it gets done before 1pm, as we won't be home after that time.
Got up Saturday(02/28) morning, prepped the vehicle and parked it for better access and gave it some room and waited. About 11:40 am, I finally called Kenny twice and he returned my phone call at 11:44am. I asked if he was still coming out, as it's now close to the time that we would be leaving home. He told me that he had a meeting to attend this morning and couldn't come out first thing in the morning as he had told me.
I told Kenny to reschedule me, as I was busy the rest of the day and that Monday would work. He offered to add in a complimentary wiper blades repalcement for all of the mishap and will contact his C.A. for the reschedule.
Monday(03/02) came, and still NOTHING! No emails, no text messages, no notifications about my upcoming appointment.
Later on the night, I finally looked online on the Safelite website to check for any of my upcoming appointment.
To my surprise, I found that there was a COMPLETED WORK ORDER(#05158-699305) for my vehicle already and that my insurance was billed for a total of ($811.98). The invoice(#05156-26291) stated that the vehicle's service location was "In-Shop" and the work order was completed on Monday, 03/02 @ 11:13am.
I was NOWHERE near this facility at all and I live 19 miles away from this faciltiy. I would have memory of driving 19 miles to physically get my windshield replaced, if this were true!
I called Customer Care to talked about my situation and told them that this sounds FRAUDULENT!! How could my insurance be billed for a service that was NEVER done on my vehicle. No communications, no phone calls, and no appointment update, BUT yet, there's a COMPLETED and BILLED invoice for my vehicle.
The Customer Care Rep scheduled me for tomorrow, Wednesday, 03/4 from 8am-12pm for a "WARRANTY REPLACEMENT"(since the insurance has already been billed).
I guess, we will see how this goes!!!

STILL, NO CALL, NO SHOW, or NO COMMUNICATIONS on when my vehicle will be serviced!
Called Customer Care @ 12:30pm and requested for an update on my appointment. No upodate available and also explained my situation to this customer representative again. I asked for a cancelation of any services and for them to refund the invoice that was billed to my insurance so that i can go elsewhere to get my windshield replaced.
My situation has been escalated to to upper management for review and I am awaiting for an update/confirmation of this invoice.
WASTE OF TIME AND WHAT A FRAUD!! STAY AWAY!!
