    Zero Stars! My experience at the Tracker Boats location in Shakopee, MN has been extremely disappointing. After purchasing my boat from them just two boating seasons ago, I encountered repeated issues: the live well failed twice, fuses kept blowing, and the battery would not hold a charge. While I accepted these initial problems, the lack of communication was astonishing—they never answered the phone, forcing me to drive to the location multiple times just to speak with someone in person. Eventually, the initial problems were resolved, but only after significant effort on my part to physically drive to the location so I could talk to someone face-to-face. The final straw was the Live Scope issue and the poor treatment I received when picking up my boat from storage this spring. I purchased the Live Scope from this location, but it stopped working within the first month. Wanting to use the boat with my kids, I waited to have it fixed until winterization and storage. When I picked up the boat in spring, I was told it was working, but it failed again after about a month. During my third or fourth frustrating exchange with the General Manager, I asked where my boat was this spring, and without even looking up, I was told, “it is out by the other boats.” I had to find it myself. After the Live Scope failed again, I returned, only to be bluntly told by the General Manager that they couldn’t fix it and I should take it elsewhere. This was after being overcharged for another repair, which was eventually reimbursed. I pointed out that I had purchased the boat from them and shouldn’t have to pay someone else for repairs. The General Manager remained unhelpful, but the finance woman who assisted with my purchase quietly apologized and gave me recommendations for outside help—at my own expense. I understand she no longer works there, nor does the previous GM, Matt, who sold me the boat. Both of them were great. Despite their commitment to service at the time of purchase, I found no accountability or communication that would prove this to be true. I had to repeatedly reach out for updates, drive to the store, and received unhelpful responses. Over the two winters we have owned the boat, I paid over $1,000 each time for storage, winterization, and spring run-up services. I will not spend another dime at this location. This lack of accountability and disregard for customers is unacceptable. When customers invest in a premium product, they deserve clear timelines and honest updates—not silence and excuses. My confidence in this dealership has been eroded. I strongly urge Tracker to address these issues by improving communication and honoring promised timelines. I would also like them to pay for what it cost me to get the Live Scope to actually work and an apology for how we were treated. Until then, I recommend considering other Tracker Boats dealerships or alternative marine retailers that value customer service and reliability.

    Best customer service I have ever experienced. From sale of the boat and gadgets, financing and the install. Tracker Boat Center exceeded our expectations. Then, it got better. This goes beyond service. We had them install the lift and deliver the boat for us. After finding out the water level was too low and and we didn't have any dock parts to extend it, the installers hired by TBC, left. That's when Matt, the store manager/GM jumped in, dug out the posts for the lift that allowed us to enjoy our boat and lift. He was there for over 5 hours by himself, making sure my family could have the weekend of boating we were so excited about. I have had people spend 5 minutes to help out or provide extra service. Never have I had someone in his position take service to that level and do it himself. Matt and Tracker Boat Center have customers for life. I cannot recommend these guys enough. We love our boat and our lift!
