  For about a month I was researching vehicles to buy a pickup truck. What I was looking for were basically two things: that it could carry a trailer of at least 9000 pounds and that it had adaptive cruise control, also up $35k and not more 100k for an used Ford F-150 super Crew 2021 or 2022. Also 1 owner and all services and certified. After many I decided for 2, showed tested the 1st one normal all, then I went to the second and since the first view I was in love truck of my dreams, later customer service exceptional site dealer also exceptional place and for me to decide between, they gave me a price discount immediately I accepted and the rest is history, happy happy happy, thank you Ryan. Nice work.

  Great experience at Apple Ford in Shakopee! Andrew was a fantastic sales person. He had all the information I needed on the vehicle that I was interested in. Mike helped with the value on my trade in and Pete worked out the financing options. All were professional and worked with me to get the numbers where we needed them to be. I would definitely visit Apple Ford of Shakopee again!

  Santino is fantastic. He is sincere, has integrity, and truly cares about his customers. When I didn't have a way to get to the dealership to pick up my car, he offered to drive up to my home to pick me up, if needed (this didn't happen, but the gesture was something I never expected but made me feel like I mattered and I was important, not just another sale). When he learned about a change is the loan terms, he called before I arrived to ensure this was acceptable before I headed to the dealership. What a huge asset to the company. It's nice to walk into a dealership and not be pressured into buying something I did not want or afford. I wish all salesman were like this. I have recommended him to my friends and family. Thank you Santino, for a great experience! Highly recommended!!

  Had transmission maintenance @ 145k miles. They completed work end of day, drove home in dark & left before sun up the next morning. My wife discovered a large puddle of trans fluid in garage. Contacted Apple Ford Shakopee and we had it looked at and determined there was no damage. They added fluid/tightened the part that was leaking. I amended my review then, but now I am having issues when reversing when the transmission is cold. I have monitored and when the transmission temp is less than 45-50 degrees, the transmission hestitates and stops when reversing out of my garage. Once it warms up past 50 degrees, the issue resolves. I stopped by to talk to the service dept but they could not get me in until the day before Christmas and would likely need to hold it for a couple when shop is open. I’ve spent 2 days getting the original maintenance done. I really don’t want to spend another 2 days without a vehicle In the meantime I received a text about addressing a low battery issue which is a much lower. I question whether my reversing issue is even logged?

  This is my third purchase from Apple Ford - the previous 2 vehicles were new (in Apple Valley), this one used. Was looking for a very specific vehicle, which I found at Apple Ford Shakopee. The vehicle itself is wonderful, no complaints. The buying experience, however, could use some refinement. We paid cash for this vehicle, yet the paperwork took nearly 2 hours before it was all finalized. When we decided to buy, it would have been nice to know that there was a 2 hour long wait before they’d be ready for our signatures as we could have left and returned at a designated time. A number of items were to be addressed before we accepted delivery of the vehicle. As such, payment was not required until we took delivery of the vehicle, but I gave a check in the full amount with the assurance it would NOT be cashed until delivery (this was due to the fact that originally the vehicle would be transferred to another location for pickup so it was easier to give them the check in advance). My check was cashed early and I had to call and ask for a status of the vehicle. This is probably my biggest complaint as I gave the check in good faith that they would hold it and they didn’t. Fortunately, my fund transfer completed in time to cover it or that would have unlocked a whole different problem for me. Vehicle delivery was uneventful. All promised items were completed to my satisfaction (it did take a handful of phone calls back and forth with the sales manager to iron everything out though). In the end, I was sent on my way with a near empty tank of gas (23 miles to empty) and no temporary license plate - but I was able to get a copy emailed to me to print and hang in the window. For an established dealership, I would have expected a much smoother buying experience and one with less hiccups. Felt like every handoff in the process had a failure point for me, but again, the vehicle itself is great and I’m overall happy with the purchase.
