    Update to update!!! 11/04/2025 ABSOLUTELY NOTHING YET!!! Minus star #3! Update. 10/22/2025 No answer yet, Therese!!! Minus 1 more star. Where is our ADA placard? Answer the emails Sixt has supposedly sent you. We had a great car experience but left our ADA placard in car and no one will get back to us about it. Otherwise, 5 star service.

    Do not rent from this company… My husband paid more when making the reservation for a luxury vehicle, and when we went there they didn’t have any available but we didn’t get a price change… It was whatever… But now they hit us with a $1500 charge for a small black scratch on the back of the car… We are certain this small scratch was not from us. We had just gotten off a red eye and didn’t think to take pictures. We now have to fight this. Save yourselves the headache and rent elsewhere.

    DO NOT RENT FROM SIXT - SCAM I rented a car from SIXT in June 2023 at MSP. When I picked up the car, I was surprised at the amount of exterior damage. Many scratches and dings and a 2 inch tear in the front bumper that you could see light through. I took a detailed video before leaving the lot. Unfortunately, during my trip to MN, I did ding a door in a parking garage. I took full responsible for that damage. But SIXT told my car insurance that ALL of the existing damage (including the tear in the front bumper) were my fault. I sent SIXT and my car insurance the video but they would not waver from their claims. Then after returning the car, I get a ~$50 charge on my credit card days later from SIXT. I find out that this was for GPS service, or something like that. I NEVER agreed to that charge nor did I use any service of the sort. I disputed it with my credit card. Now TWO YEARS later, I am getting notices from a collection agency that I owe SIXT this money. This company is SO BAD. I am in the process of reporting them to both the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Attorney General's office. Do yourself a favor and Google them - there was even a recent class action lawsuit due to SIXT collecting money for damages but never actually repairing the damaged vehicles. Terrible, terrible company.

    If I could rate Sixt zero stars I would. Rented a car over Labor Day to attend a wedding after arriving from Charlotte. The Sixt employee did not inspect the car with us and basically did nothing to help us. The car was always parked in a safe hotel parking lot. Upon return of the car at the airport there was no Sixt employee available so we used the key drop and took our flight home. I am now receiving threatening emails from Sixt demanding payment for "a superficial scratch" on the rear bumper. WE DID NOT SCRATCH THIS CAR. After internet analysis and reading multiple Sixt reviews it's quite obvious Sixt tries this stunt with many renting consumers. Again, I will not pay this $ 1,173 claim against me for damage I did not cause. I would highly recommend that you not do business with Sixt or you will be contacting your attorney like we are. Beware. UPDATE. YOU WILL SEE BELOW THE RESPONSE FROM THERESA THE OWNER. I DID WHAT SHE REQUESTED I DO VIA THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. ALL I RECEIVED FROM SIXT WAS ANOTHER THREATENING EMAIL. THERESA, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS ?
