I asked them to call the store I purchased it from to confirm. They said I’m welcome to, but they aren’t going to do anything extra. Rude staff and I will be speaking to the district manager. As a former advance employee, that is not how to conduct a transaction; Regardless of my status as a former employee or a walk-in. Had I been a walk-in they would’ve attempted to sell me a new battery for sure. These employees need serious retraining on customer service skills. Especially the crew working the morning of Saturday December 20th

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
