Miserable. Valvoline always claims an oil change in 15 minutes or less. I was waiting in line with two cars in front of me, not yet in an oil change Bay, for more than 15 minutes with no movement whatsoever. I lost hope and left. I will not go to this Valvoline again!
I went to this location for the 2nd time today and found out the hard way that I should have never gone there to begin with...
After arriving I spent 1 hour and 45 minutes waiting to get into a bay (there was 1 car in each lane waiting when I arrived). At this point I started thinking Valvoline "instant" oil change could be considered false advertising, yet I sat patiently thinking maybe someone didn't show up for work and they're operating with minimal staff as best they could, so I was understanding. Boy was I wrong.
Watching the only person upstairs walk around at a snail's pace didn't inspire confidence but eventually I made it into a bay and, after another 10 minutes, they started working on the oil change. At this point I felt relief that I would get out of here with fresh oil and be on my way shortly. Again, I was mistaken.
After 20 minutes in the bay I could overhear the guy below my car saying in frustration that he could not remove the bolt from my oil pan and that they intended to send me on my way without having an oil change at all after 2 hours. I was informed that this was the case by the guy up top shortly after. When I said "hey I came here for my last oil change, so obviously someone here stripped the bolt to begin with," I was given no answers and told that they can't see in the system where I had my last oil change. Instead I was given half a quart of oil as a top off and sent on my way with a feeble apology and no admittance of wrongdoing or future discounts/guarantees.
All in all, I am going to have to go to a body shop to have the stripped bolt removed and replaced and my oil change done.
I don't think I have ever left a poor review to this detail in my life, but I feel that it's important to notify other customers that you should avoid this shop like the plague because you are better off letting your engine explode from lack of oil than letting them waste your Sunday morning and cost you additional money.
The last two times I have been here have been disappointing. I waited in line for 30 minutes and then they told me they didn’t have my filter. They said they would hook me up if I came back the next day. I came back a few days later and they still didn’t have the filter. Today, I waited in line for an hour. It was taking long and I assumed people were getting more than just oil changes done. After that hour, an employee came out and said the oil changes were taking 40 minutes because they were shortstaffed. It would have been nice if they had come out earlier to let people know

Was there over 2 hours and the technicians didn’t show me the dip stick, the air filter, said he seen it and thought it was good. Customer service was terrible there and I will never go back. Eating a 1 star if I could give a zero I would.
I went into Valvoline at 7305 Nevada Ave. in new Hope Minnesota for a routine oil change. While I was there, the guy told me that my rear windshield wiper was rusted and needed to be replaced. He sold it to me for $25. Everything was all good until I made it halfway down the street and realized that they had not topped off any of my fluids, so I turned around and went back and it’s when I found out that they were out of all of their fluids and that I would need to come back the next day. Unfortunately, because of work, I was not able to come back the next day. It would have to be the following week. Between when I left Valvoline and that next week is when I realize that my rear windshield wiper was not working because it was too big. I just added it to the list of things that they would need to correct when I made it back. Today I came into Valvoline And spoke with the manager, Emmanuel to get these items taken care of. While, one of the staff was taking care of me he realize that they sold me the wrong windshield wiper. They also admitted that They do not sell the windshield wiper that is needed for my car. I was told that I would need to now go to AutoZone and get a windshield wiper myself and that if I wanted to, I could bring it back to Valvoline and they would fix it. I asked for compensation for inconvenience, for Discarding my property. The manager Emmanuel told me that my compensation was my rightful refund for the wrong product that they sold me. He did not try to accommodate me in any type of way other than to send me on a wild goose chase for a windshield wiper. Because of his condescending tone and inability to compensate me for the mistake and inconvenience I did not trust him to put fluids in my car. I now have to go to another Valvoline to do so. I will be reaching out to corporate.
