Otherwise I will go to a different location….

Previous use of valvoline I have used the east lake street location and the tech there always gives me pointers and upcoming possible issues to keep an eye on. Also they did not reset my dash computer and the oil life reading has actually gone down from 15% when I brought my vehicle in to 10% as of today. Now I don’t know if oil was actually changed or not?

This is nothing more than pure greed. The only explanation the tech had is "the filter price went up by $2." At this price, I won't be back. Not worth it to pay over $50 for such a basic service that doesn't even include their oil.
