This place needs help, I reserved online then was told they couldn't find it so its gonna be almost 100$ more (yes I had the confirmation email). Then the car, holy POS. Crack in windshield (small but still shouldnt have one on a rental), back seats were soaked in what I'm guessing was dirty body fluid because it smelled so bad and was white coated, left turn signal didn't stay on, tabs were outta date (got pulled over 2x) thankfully cops were nice but still added almost 2 hrs on my ride. And radio and navigation only sometimes worked . I took the car because I had to go outta town and nobody else was open on a Saturday. The manager did call me and offered to fix my rate but it still was way overpriced at $531 for 7 days. Especially with all the issues I had. I should've never kept it. I shouldve been refunded and apologies but instead they charged me a late fee because they have no key drop box, so I had to pay for an additional day because I dropped it at 7pm Seems unfair again. Don't recommend at all. Oh and a way overpriced depsoit (300$) when I had a CC, I understand with a debit card but not CC. I hope they see this.and call me to fix it , if they do. Ill update this accordingly. If not, literally run away from here.

Very unprofessional I rented a car for 115 for 2 days the email I received said I just needed to bring in the card being used a payment id and drivers license. I even bring a rental lease agreement to be safe. I get there the lady behind the counter tells me I need 2 utilities and a credit card statement. After canceling she then proceeds to tell me I'll get my money back in 2-3 business days it's been 6 so I call customer service and they say 3-15 days, I have a email that states 5-7. Don't get me wrong the lady who helped me cancel was nice and all but should be on the same page tell customers exactly what they need to bring before they even pay for it thru y'all's app

If I could give this place -5 stars I would. Any positive reviews you see of this place is a fabricated lie.
It was the most shocking display of customer service I have ever witnessed. The supervisor is aggressive, rude, and caused a scene in the garage, attempting to get into an altercation with my partner.
The booking confirmation stated that they take debit and credit cards but on arrival they asked for a copy of my lease and two utility bills. Simply to use a card for the deposit. We thought it was strange but still presented the documents to him. The supervisor who called himself "Donald Donald" instead of providing a last name, or real one for that matter, decided he didnt want to work anymore, refused to accept the documents he asked for and said he had "met his capacity to handle this" and refused to give a reason as to why he was declining to assist. It was obvious that he was upset that it was booked through a third party and/or he was trying to scam us out of more money. He told us to call customer service for an explanation instead of doing his job. Then shooed my partner out and locked the door, mocking and gesturing through the window.
When we called customer service they called the location and he made another associate, Allison talk to them. Even she told them she didnt know why he would not look at the documents and rent the car. After that they declined to answer any phone calls from the corporate office and the booking agency, just let the phone ring time after time. He made me late in my travels to my grandmother's funeral, cost me unnecessary rideshare fees back and forth and acted like it was normal to behave this way. He also checked us in to the reservation (that he said he could not honor) and charged for the rental as if we picked up and dropped it off, so that we could not open a service ticket and manage or report the booking. Shady. This location completely lacks professionalism and should be shut down immediately.

The best rental company I've come across followed by enterprise. SIXT always have the latest models, unlike other rental companies.
My experience with SIXT Minneapolis has always been great. I'd give them 10 star for the best customer service. The staffs are friendly and very helpful including the GM. I worked with The Donald, who goes above and beyond ensuring customers are well taken care off.
Highly recommend this branch.

I am writing to formally complain about my repeated negative experiences with Sixt Rent a Car. Unfortunately, these issues have occurred more than once and reflect a consistent pattern of poor service and questionable billing practices.
On multiple occasions, I was provided with rental vehicles that were visibly dirty and not properly cleaned at the time of pickup. Despite the condition in which the vehicles were issued, I was later charged excessive cleaning fees. Charging customers for cleanliness when vehicles are delivered in unsanitary condition is unacceptable and misleading.
Additionally, I have repeatedly encountered disputes regarding fuel levels at vehicle return. Each time, I returned the vehicle with the fuel level matching what was provided at pickup. Despite this, staff members were aggressive and insisted that the fuel was insufficient, resulting in improper fuel charges. These claims are inaccurate and appear to be an attempt to impose unjustified fees.
The combination of unclean vehicles, aggressive staff behavior, and unwarranted charges has completely eroded my trust in your company. As a result, I will no longer rent from Sixt, even if offered a complimentary rental. I believe these practices are unfair to customers and warrant immediate review.
I am requesting a formal review of my rental records, a refund of all improper cleaning and fuel charges, and written confirmation of the outcome. I also strongly urge Sixt to address these issues to prevent future customers from experiencing the same treatment.
