  The service was absolutely terrible. The driver never arrived, and I missed work because of it. This is incredibly unprofessional! I can’t believe my insurance company sent me this place. I will filing a complaint with my insurance company about safelite.

  It was very easy to make an appointment online and make an insurance claim as part of the process. The repair looks great and was very speedy.

  About 2 weeks ago, I booked an appointment with Safelite to come and fix my front windshield. Waited all day and no one called and I waited all day for nothing. The website asked me to pay in advance, I am glad i didn’t pay first. Monday someone from Safelite called me and acted like they don’t know about my appointment, nor did I get an apology! Do not waste your time or money with this company! I took my $ else where! And he charged half the fee Safelite charged and did it less than an hour! He said he tends to have to come behind Safelite for his customers because they don’t do the job right the first time! They deserve no stars at all!

  Their online chat bot gives out mis information & so do their employees. When scheduling for underground garage repairs you used to be able to have a 7’ clearance in a heated garage which I have and they’d repair before. To double check I not only asked the online chat bot, but called Safelite and an agent confirmed with me that works. Then the tech calls me next day on his way and says I need a 7’9” clearance because they have a new fleet that requires it. Ok not his fault but frustrating and he says he experiences this all the time. So to attempt to improve things for future customers I call safelite and they tell me that’s incorrect and a customer service rep says she called the manager of the store and it’s 7’0” clearance. I confirmed twice it was that clearance wither her. I said great let’s do the service then. She gets the assistant manager on the phone ( customer service lady hangs up) and I speak solo to the assistant manager who tells me the clearance is 7’4” . Furious I say “ the customer service agent just informed me it was 7’ “ The assistant manager then tells me I must’ve misunderstood her - essentially calling me a liar. I said no I confirmed twice and she still said I misunderstood her. Absolutely furious I wasted over an hour with this joke of a company - it seems as if they are out to run circles on you and nobody gives a rats you know what. Latrice was the assistant manager- I suggest learning customer service and not telling customers they are dumb. As well as your customer service team and corporate needs to fix all of the misinformation. I cancelled called another shop and had a polar opposite experience. I would not use this company. Complete utter joke. I operate multiple businesses and if my staff teams ever did this to somebody I would do a full retraining and deep dive into how things are done. I would hear the customer out and examine what went wrong. Safelite seems to be way too large of a company to care and clearly there aren’t checks and balances.
