Please, if you are a foreigner or an American without a credit card DO NOT(!!!) rent a car with Alamo. My brother got off a 18 hour flight from Sweden late last night, and was denied his PRE-PAID rental because he is Swedish and does not have a credit card. He needed this car because there’s a 2 hour drive from the airport to his university. As I said, the rental was already paid for in advance and they even refused to refund him the money. When I called and tried to help out by giving my credit card and information or to at least get the money back, I was told it was not their problem, that they would not issue a refund and then I got hung up on. HORRIBLE!!!

Customer service was excellent from my pick up to drop off. Weather was iffy and counter staff upgraded me to a beautiful F-150 for additional 10.00 per day! I thought I left my cell phone in vehicle after drop off and they were very diligent looking for it. Excellent service!

Good desk staff but hotline staff were complete idiots who gave us wrong directions that costed us $120 in changing tires.

I’m giving the customer service representative the one star, she was extremely rude, flippant and demanding. We brought our truck back at 5:30 am at MSP Terminal 2. She complained when we threw our empty bottles away in the trash. She sat in the driver’s side and demanded the keys. No “please”, explanation of what she was doing or who she was. (In our past experience we normally drop the keys in the night box) Then she spit out a number and asked if it was correct and we didn’t know if she was referring to mileage or something else. No thank you or good morning. Even the TSA agents were nicer than this lady. We were not impressed.
