  Got a transmission from here and did not last 1 month. The shop did everything to their recommendations and specs and they did not stand by their warranty. Do not buy any transmissions from this shop, or your you'll be out your cash.

  The reduction of a star is due to poor communication in multiple areas. First were few details of why it was taking so long for the work to be done. Turns out issues led to more issues to fix, part sourcing also caused delays, yet updates from the shop were few and brief. We called and spoke to the shop manager who was able to fill in the details. When the job was complete, they left us a message with a cash/check price, or there would be a 3.5% fee if credit card. Which is cool, totally get that. But when we showed up with a check, they were "sorry, forgot to tell ya that checks are limited to $1500"; our bill was over $2300 and they wouldn't waive the policy. Then I asked if the debit card would be a fee too, he said the fee would be reversed once it cleared the bank. It never was, we paid 2.7% instead of 3.5% on credit card, which i would have preferred to use for the slight difference. I don't blame them for the fees, but would just appreciate accurate communication. They came highly recommended and we are pleased with the work although it's only two weeks in! Would recommend them, and hopefully communication will improve.

  Under no circumstances would I consider using this shop again. Brought in my car along with my own new parts (eBay) for a clutch replacement. Seemed to go well until the transmission started to stick hard with less than 400 miles on it. Had Chuck test drive it and he was surprised at the sticking issue he felt. Although it never stuck before the new clutch, his suggestion was, "if it was mine I would just drive it." It continued to stick so I called back to ask about options of having them look at it for me since they did the install with a complete understanding that they would not warrenty my parts because I brought them in. But when I said that I would like them to look at it regardless to solve the issue Chuck became belligerent. I understand that if it was a part issue it is on me, but when I asked Chuck that if it was an installation issue, would the shop cover the costs of labor to correct the issue, he said,"... we'll discuss that at the time if it happens." Which sounds an awful lot like they are reluctant to stand behind their work. Ultimately Chuck got so flustered at the suggestion that his shop might have made a mistake that he informed me he was hanging up. Poor customer service and even poorer customer relations.
