- NMNicholas MachaOct 29, 20254.0Edit : took my car back and they were able to fix issues without having to replace the windshield again. Would have been nice to have had it done correctly the first time, but I am satisfied now that the problem was corrected. Had my windshield replaced on my 2024 Lexus rx350h, and after leaving town and getting up to highway speed there is a loud whistling noise. Also, my automatic wipers no longer work. Safelite tells me they will have to replace the entire windshield again to correct the problem. Meanwhile I have to drive back and forth to work for a week listening to a loud whistling noise. Would have much rather gone to a dealership, but this is the place USAA sent me. 🤷
