The big guy with the beard was incredibly nice and did everything he could help me when I showed up with a bolt in my tire. He tried to help me plug the hole and even brought an air compressor to put air in my tire, but the tire plug kit wasn’t working so he even called over to Jiffy Lube and told him that I was coming so that they could try to help me fix it and when I pulled up, they had already know when I was coming and everything went super smooth and he even showed up. I had the Jiffy Lube to make sure that things were still going OK incredibly nice guy and I would’ve been screwed without Him.

You can walk in with a car and a rough idea for what you need and they will track down exactly what you need to buy. Everything from what oil to buy, to what tonnage jack and jack stands you need, to what type of electrical solenoid you need. Would recommend to anyone that needs to do something with their car, beginners and experts alike.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
