  We had an extremely disappointing experience with Camping World / Forest River in Hugo, MN and Little Falls, MN. From the beginning, we never received all of the parts that were supposed to come with our camper. I texted our sales person and he said they would take care of it. Despite repeated follow-ups, the issue was never fully resolved, and we were left chasing answers instead of enjoying a brand-new camper. I ended up buying my own screen and blinds, which I asked to be reimbursed for but wasn’t. Things became much worse when a technician (from Camping World Little Falls) was sent out to fix existing problems. Instead of repairing the camper, the technician caused additional damage to the furnace, floor, trim, and a cabinet. Most alarming, during work on the furnace, the technician tampered with the furnace. Something that runs gas so close to my family should have been fixed the right way the first time. I would like to thank the second Dylan for coming to our camper and fixing all of the issues with a great attitude and true compassion for what my family went through! As if that wasn’t enough, when we canceled our warranty due to these ongoing issues, and the decision to never use Camping World again, we were shorted on the refund we were owed. After everything that occurred, including safety risks and additional damage, the only compensation offered was a $100 gift card, which felt dismissive given the seriousness of the situation. All we asked for was the money for the parts we bought and our time and gas due to them sending out an unqualified technician multiple times even after I requested someone else. We did retain a lawyer at one point, but ultimately chose to drop the matter because we wanted this experience to be over rather than continue reliving it. That decision should not be mistaken for acceptance of how this was handled. This was not a minor inconvenience, it was a serious safety failure paired with poor accountability and inadequate resolution. We trusted Camping World / Forest River Hugo with our family’s safety, and that trust was broken. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing or servicing a camper here to think twice and seek independent inspections.

  The wife and I have contemplated getting a camper for many years now. For whatever reason we decided that we were going to do it this year but we were going to look for the camper that fits us best. Luckily we came across Forest Lake/camping world of Hugo. They had a 2016 R-Pod that was exactly what we were looking for so dealing with them over the phone was pretty amazing between Christian, Bridget, and Moose. It was seamless, and we were well informed of everything regarding our new Camper we were going to get. As for the finance part of it moose was very thorough with the paperwork and very attentive to both my wife and I while we were there at the shop. You can really tell that he likes his job and he does it very well. It was a pleasure dealing with all aspects of buying this camper. I very much appreciative of Moose, Christian, and Bridget in this regard. The people at Forest River/Camping World know their stuff and treat their customers well.

  Moose is the man! Seriously, in a world full of greasy sales folks he is a genuinely good guy just looking to get the customer taken care of regardless of whether its in his best instrest, or not. I just saw it. Others offered more, but I was first and he stood by it. That's pretty rare these days. Ask for Moose, he's a stand up guy.

  Moose and the team there did a great job and got my business and when it time come again I will come back to there location and get with Moose and team to buy another camper! Merry Christmas to the camping world team!!

  Top notch people to work with. First Cody was a pleasure to work with and was able to find a price that worked for both of us. Then Moose worked extensively to get the numbers to line up perfectly. He even taught us a few things about loans we needed to know. Then when I had hitch troubles Cody was gracious enough to stay late to give us time to work and even went above and beyond to offer help and loan us tools to use. Absolute stellar service and great people to work with. If ur looking to buy a camper/icehouse your first call should be to Cody, they’ll get it done for you!
