This has to be one of the worst places I’ve ever been to. I came in for a simple oil change several days ago, and they somehow managed to both overfill my oil, put the wrong coolant in, admit they didn't know what they were doing after they were supposedly done, and then still ask for me to pay. Let's rewind a bit. When I first walked in, two employees were arguing about who was supposed to sweep the shop. Not exactly confidence-inspiring, but whatever. They started my oil change and immediately couldn’t figure out how much oil my car needed. More employees came out to help, and still nobody could figure it out. It took me a 15-second Google search, and I know slim to none about cars. While they were busy overfilling my oil, they were also struggling with the coolant. I asked what the problem was, and they said they weren’t sure which kind to use. A few minutes later, they told me they had one that “should” work. Since this is literally their job, I assumed they knew what they were doing. Later they admitted that my manufacturer requires a specific coolant that they didn’t have, but they put in the “universal” one anyway before even telling me. Apparently “should be fine” was their standard for decision-making that day despite admitting it wasn't the required type (because why would that matter?). Meanwhile, two people were trying to figure out how to use the machine to drain the oil they had just overfilled. Spoiler: they couldn’t. They dragged out another machine and after a solid few minutes of button-mashing, they finally got it to work. And then, in the middle of all of this chaos, someone came over and asked me to pay. That was the point I pretty much checked out mentally. They had messed up every part of the service so far, but still thought I should pay for it. I laughed and said absolutely not, especially since I now had to drive to the dealership I bought my car from two months ago so they could check everything, drain the fluids, flush the coolant system, and fix all of this, and of course pay dealership prices. One employee looked shocked that I said no, and the only reason I didn’t end up paying was because another worker said, “That’s valid, I wouldn’t want to pay either.” I submitted a complaint on their website, and a manager called me a couple days later. He actually said, “You should have paid, because we don’t have any record of you being there.” I had to remind him that security cameras exist. He then admitted he watched the footage, but apparently only after I pointed out how ridiculous his comment was. He then said they would reimburse the oil change portion from the dealership, not the other work I paid for. I told him I needed to be reimbursed for the actual work the dealership had to do because of their mistakes. He paused, thought about it, and said, “I feel comfortable giving you 50% back.” I laughed again. The complete lack of awareness was honestly impressive at this point. I told him I wasn’t asking for compensation for the 6 hours I spent at the dealership or the Uber rides, just the cost of the work they caused. After what seemed like some very strenuous mental math on his end, he finally agreed to reimburse the full amount. While I did eventually get the money back, I’m still shocked that any of these people are employed. None of this was complicated. Just refund the money and move on to damaging the next car that comes in. If you’re considering going here, don’t. Between the inability to do their jobs, the total lack of problem-solving skills, and the boldness to act like I should pay for their mistakes, you’re better off going somewhere else.

Just had the most extraordinary experience at this Jiffy Lube in Hopkins (next to The Moline)! General Manager Charlie, Jeremiah, and David went over and above to replace a battery. I've gone here for years for oil changes, but have to share that this team is about integrity and prioritizing 5 star service, professionalism, and an exceptional experience for the customer. Wish I could give them 10 stars (the app limit is 5), but instead will bake and bring cookies to let them know they are valued and second to none!

I loved the old staff they were helpful and energetic and quick. Let me tell you the new crew had some big shoes to fill and they did phenomenal job. The new crew are just as quick and full of smiles. Glad to see the turn around didn't damage an already great low traffic store. It is so nice not to wait 40 minutes to get oil change because of high traffic. This is a hidden diamond.
