- CWChris WeberDec 9, 20251.0The intoxalock experience was a nightmare! I had many problems with the device, it had to be replaced 3 times. I had the protection plan, and I'm still waiting for them to reimburse me for service and tows. The device wrecked the fuse box to my truck. When I got towed I asked the tow truck driver about intoxalock, he said he tows 3-5 cars a week with this device. Intoxalock reported me for tampering, which never happened and added 6 months to my sentence. I got a new truck so I went with smart start, and the experience has been great and costs less. Intoxalock should not be allowed to do business. I would strongly recommend using any other company!!
