Todd was knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy. Never once did they try to upsell me for an entire set of tires or anything. They squeeze me in same day and we’re very fair in price for the repair needed. A few hours later, my car was ready and I am back on the road with confidence. I will definitely use CarX in the future for auto needs.

The part they wanted to use (which is what made it so expensive) was the most expensive one after doing some of my own research on power steering lines for my specific car online. I asked if they could use a cheaper part and they said it was not possible because it is the company’s policy and they was nothing they could do. Explain to me why it is the company policy to charge people the most money they can by using the most expensive parts….I proceeded to take it to tires plus and they said it would only be $200. $400 dollar difference is insane and seems like a big scam to me. I would’ve paid more than $200 for just the labor not including the part at Car-X. I’ve had this problem with them before where they want to charge a ridiculous amount for their services or after you get the quote they charge you way more once you go to pick it up. Do your research before deciding to let them work on your car to make sure the quote isn’t insane.

When I took it in to get it fixed, the cost ended up being about $200 more and took an hour long than they said. They said the reason it was $200 more than originally quoted was because if they replace part A, they also have to replace part B, but that was never mentioned until it was time to pay. They said the reason it took an hour longer was because they were waiting for the part to arrive at the facility….. I made the appointment 3 days prior and they still didn’t have the parts in?
