    My husband and I recently bought a Volvo. Alina Nguyen, our salesperson, facilitated the interstate purchase. When I arrived in Minnesota, Alina picked me up at the airport and drove me to the dealership. The preliminary work had been completed in advance. After the money was transferred, I was on my way home with the car. Alina was very helpful and informative. She walked us through every step of the purchasing process. If you’re looking for a new Volvo, we recommend contacting Alina.

    I just bought a new XC90 with the help of Alina Nguyen. She was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience seamless. Within a few hours of walking in without an appointment, we left in our new car! She was easy to work with, answered our questions, and gave us a fair price on our trade-in. If you are looking for a Volvo, I highly recommend Alina at Borton Volvo.

    I entered the dealership and spoke with Craig Schow, letting him know upfront that I had little to no knowledge about Volvo vehicles. Craig took the time to thoroughly explain the features and details of the cars and even demonstrated everything on a physical vehicle. He was extremely friendly, never pushy, and very patient throughout the entire process. We met several times, as I had additional questions before making my decision, and each time Craig was happy to help. The only reason I purchased the car was because of the outstanding customer service Craig provided. His professionalism and dedication made the experience truly enjoyable.

    I’m so sad to leave this review because I love my car, but the service here is insanity. I have paid so much money to get my tires put on for the winter, and swapped for the summer. No rims on them. After being ripped off for $150 for a tire change each time, waiting there for over 4 hours while they do it, I finally took the car to Costco. Costco charged me $50, examined the car, just to tell me my winter tires were never installed by these guys. I paid and waited for nothing to happen. On top of that, when I went to finally get my winters installed by Costco, they took out my tire to tell me one of them was patched and they couldn’t install. I had gotten a flat the winter prior and paid Volvo $400 for a new tire. To their credit, they gave me a new tire but actually took one of my GOOD TIRES and still installed the one they patched! Costco told me this was an insane hazard and if it exploded I would’ve lost control of the car. Now, I go to take my winters off. The last time I had all seasons installed was with Volvo. They told me 2 of my tire beads are ripped and they won’t install them because it’s a huge liability. What are you guys doing when I pay you all this money and sit there waiting to get my tires installed? You’re clocking in to do work and not do the job, installing broken tires after I pay for them to be replaced while stealing my good ones, etc! After I mentioned the first Costco winter tire incident to the service manager and Patrick, they tried to convince me Costco was ripping me off. I inspected the tires myself, sure enough all seasons on the car! How would they swap those in 10 minutes and refund me my $50? Now I’ve tried to contact Patrick about the stolen good and broken installed tire, but he won’t call me back. They refuse to refund me my service cost, my tire cost, etc. I really hope Patrick responds to this review since he won’t answer my calls.

    This week I bought my first (like new) car - that I truly got to pick out myself. No hand me downs from mom, etc. In order to be sure I picked a good one, I test drove multiple vehicles at 3 different brand car dealerships. Borton happened to be my first stop. Id always dreamed of having a Volvo. I love all the amazing features they offer - the foot sensor for the trunk, heated seat, heated steering wheel, pano moon roof, crystal gear shifter and 360 camera. Kevin was absolutely FANTASTIC. Seriously. 10/10. Highly recommend. I walked in Borton’s doors - and Kevin was the first sales guy to get up, greet me, and shake my hand. We had a conversation about exactly what I was looking for. We went outside looked at some xc40’s - he was very knowledgeable and showed me every single detail in the vehicle. Then I got to test drive it. At the end of the day, I loved it.. but really wanted a different color and a crystal gear shifter. After I left, Kevin looked high and low. Literally put “boots on the ground”. To find me the Volvo xc40 of my dreams - that checked Every. Single. Box. And find it - he did. It had apparently sat on the lot for sometime.. getting lost in the shuffle of things.. and needed some service to get up and fully running. After some new batteries and updated software she was good to go. Practically BRAND NEW. The service department did a nice job, and I appreciated being offered a rental when they knew it was going to take longer than we all originally planned. Kevin has been diligent and checked in with me every step of the way to ensure my full satisfaction. Kai (hopefully I spelled your name right?) was also great. I really appreciated his help getting everything set up and going through the full tutorial on how to use my new car! I honestly hope to be a Volvo girly for life. And I also really hope Kevin will still be there the next time we decide to upgrade (hopefully to a xc90 as our little family grows - we don’t have kids yet, but hope to soon)!! Overall, I had a great experience at Borton, with my new Volvo xc40 and with Kevin. If you’re in the market for a new or used Volvo - highly recommend checking them out!
