Friday, June 12th, I am hauling our camper, the wife, two kids, one dog and a friend of my kids to a campground in the Whitewater area (near Elba). The fuel pump stops working about 10 miles west of Plainview. We get his phone # off the internet. Kent says if we can get the Yukon there, he can fix it. He also referred a towing company that offered to also get our camper to the campground if need be. Our friends, already at the campground, came back to get us & the camper. Enough time goes by for Kent to assess the situation. I had no intention of getting a quote elsewhere. I was 'at his mercy' so to say. (thinking that I could really get screwed here) I told him to fix it, and hopefully it would be done before Sunday. He told me to call him @ noon on Saturday for an update. When I called him, the repair was already complete.
My vehicle was delivered to him toward the end of the work day. He ordered the parts I needed, and then installed them first thing Saturday morning. Considering the predicament I was in, his service went way beyond my expectations, and his labor cost was much lower than I expected.
It's not often you find a shop that you can trust, but I did that day.
Thank you, Kent.
Sincerely,
Jeff
