Not too shabby! I mean, not everything is ever going to be perfect so there’s no reason to be rude just because you are semi anonymous.
So go here and see for yourself if you like it. Sometimes we have bad days and shouldn’t try to close a business because of a small snafu.
I mean, I could be super specific and tell you who I worked with and what great service I had, or what wonderful food I was able to have, but that stuff changes day-to-day and we all need to realize that and stop being so snarky to people simply because we have the power to do so with a super computer in our hand.
That’s why I am making sure to leave good reviews on places so that the world can maybe be a nicer place. We all need it.

Andrew, Quincy, and Kai hooked up my oil change. So friendly. I had went to golden valley a few days before and hated my experience, I swore off Valvoline. Decided to give them another try and was very satisfied. Will come back to the Edina location from now on.

I got an overpriced oil change and got upsold on a radiator flush that took 2 seconds and costed $140. I called ahead to confirm I could get a tire rotation and then they refused to do it. Don’t go here

I went in and paid $62 for an oil change. They showed me the level on the dipstick and it was way above the hatched area, where it should have been. That was my first red flag. Did they not know that this can ruin people's engines??? That's not just heresay (read your owner's manual). How many have driven through their shop and ended up with damage to their engines, not knowing that this person (who I later found out was the manager!) had no clue about how to fill to the proper level? I made him take some out, and I made it clear that it should be within the hatched area on the dipstick. The guy showed me the level right in the middle of two holes (the hatched area) and I thanked him. The problem was it was a lie. Either there was incompetence, not knowing that much of the oil was still higher up inside the engine and in the process of settling, or he was upset that I asked him to do it right and wiped the dipstick to make it look right, when it was no where near correct.
I have an expensive truck, and up till now I could park on anyone's driveway without worrying that I had a drip. That is no longer the case.
I had to go back, and ask them to take more oil out. A different person did that for me, and I was not able to see any oil on the dipstick before I drove off. I thought that was a good starting point, I can easily add. But I still did not know that I needed to let the engine oil settle for 15 minutes before checking the level. These technicians did not seem to know that either, or they just didn't care.
The next day I finally decided to check my owner's manual and see what the proper procedure was. That's when I checked the level again and took pictures.
The pictures I'm showing here are after the second person tried to help me get the level right. You can see in the first picture that the level is still way too high. Also you can see from the other picture that an oil leak has started, most likely from overfilling.
I'm going to a dealer from now on. What a disaster.
