When I arrived there was a sign on the door stating that they were closed until Monday, so I made another appointment for the following Friday morning. This time there was no sign on the door, but there was nobody there. I can see the tires inside. I wouldn't be surprised if this location was about to be shut down. Their phone number is an offshore call center, and their customer complaint line has long hold times.

For some reason it looks like the staff from the Eagan location is working the Cottage Grove location. Oh well, I guess I need to find a new place to go for service. Huge thanks to David and Tony at CarX in Eagan! They were absolute lifesavers, staying late to quickly and efficiently handle my flat repair. Their dedication and awesome service got me safely back on the road when they easily could have turned me away. Highly recommend this dedicated team for going the extra mile!
- PBPhilip BipesOct 8, 20251.0Went in today for my 5:30 appointment for oil change and was completely shocked to find the customer service level as unacceptable. I had an issue with the Eden Prairie location (now closed) and they had sent me an email saying that my next oil change was to be done at no charge. A gentleman, Tony, said “I won’t accept this”, asked why and all he said was “he did this all the time”. The other guy working, don’t know his name was much more appropriate and called someone to see what he needed to do all the while Tony kept up his snide remarks and even said “I’m surprised that they gave the ok” when the other guy said good to go. I asked the other guy what was his name and title of Tony, only to find out he is a technician, not of any authority. I guess Tony was an acting manager during a transition period, but if he acted like that I would see why he was not promoted permanently. This level of customer service is unacceptable and in today’s world, this can make or break a company. The DM of this location should take a look at what kind of service Tony has given me, and probably others because Car-X now has given me a sour taste in my mouth. You can imagine that I won’t be doing business with this company again after all the bad experiences, this just being final nail in the coffin. Work on your customer service skills and show your customers respect, because it is those people that give you a paycheck.
