- SHScott HughesJan 13, 20265.0Strike 3 for me! Steven Downs rescued me for the 3rd time this year. On Sunday I left the cabin on Lake Nebagamon and got 2 blocks before I slide in the ditch. I was 1/2 way down a hill then off to the right buried in the woods. There isn’t much help around on an icy /snow covered cabin road on Sundays. I called Dukes and talked to Steven. I told him my truck would need more than a tow rope. He told me he’d run out to help!! Just hearing that brought my blood pressure back down. When he arrived he tried several approaches to get my truck to move. With the deep snow and icy road it was a challenge. Steven stayed calm and worked his magic with his cables and pulleys. He got my truck back on the road without any damage. Without his help my truck would still be in the woods. With it being a weekend and in a remote area I really had no idea what to do. Thank you Steven for helping me get my truck back!
