Later during my oil change Dan told me he sent an employee to pick up the correct blade from Napa for me. I really appreciate the extra effort. Thank you!

As I entered slowly, I heard and felt a hard impact from underneath my vehicle (a Honda Civic). Immediately, both associates exchanged concerned looks, and one of them asked the other, “Did you hear that?” I was then instructed to stop moving forward. Both associates began communicating with the technician in the pit area while crouching down to see what had happened. For several minutes, I felt tugging from beneath my car, but no one explained the issue to me during this time. After what felt like approximately five minutes, the associate named Juan instructed me to slowly pull forward and informed me that I would need to reverse out of the bay after the oil change rather than exit forward as usual. I asked Juan what had happened, and he stated that someone forgot to move the lift inside the ground and that something had gotten stuck in the bar. He then attempted to move on to the oil change, but I redirected him to the incident because I felt uneasy and wanted clarity. It required multiple questions before he provided any details, and it was clear to me that he was trying to give as little information as possible. I asked to speak with a manager, who was in Bay 3 at the time. When he came over, I am confident that he did not take any time to examine the damage. When I explained my concerns, his response was dismissive—summarized as, “Use a different bay next time; these things happen.” Additionally, the manager later fabricated a claim that he and I supposedly discussed something hanging from my car before I entered the bay. That conversation never occurred. If the team had noticed anything visibly hanging, it would be standard procedure to either redirect me to another bay or decline to perform the service altogether—not to proceed without warning. **This is part of the email I sent over 3 weeks ago. I’ve called and spoke with customer service 3 times and the last I heard the area manager was suppose to investigate this event.*** My shield underneath my vehicle dragged on the ground while I waited to hear a response to the claim. Please do not go to this Valvoline, they will destroy your car and then lie about it even if you have video to prove it!
