  Do not go to this place I don’t know who rated them five stars. They must be family members, but they lied about my vehicles. The guy even had a call back and apologize. They were trying to rip me off due to. I was a woman I’m sure.. two vehicle I brought there ended up coming back with the engine lights on had to bring them back the air pressure never checked the tire pressure or anything else that they say they do. The guy told me some do it some don’t never really gave me a good enough answer I could go on and on about this place, but I would never bring anything up there. Trust me people do not bring your vehicles there they’re a rip off they lie take advantage of people can’t give a straight answer. I thought I had commented when I had my work done on the vehicles, but I didn’t. I had to bring them to a different car mechanic here in new Brighton, and they took care of everything. HP told me I needed a water pump for my truck which I never needed. The guy never checked the fluid in the container. It was stain so he thought it was full, but it was empty. It was all kinds of stuff at that place flat out lied. I see your comment that you responded and you did lie. The mechanic did lie to me. What are you talking about? He told me I needed a water pump and I didn’t. I would’ve spent how many hundreds of dollars on that with labor, he never checked the reservoir. You even called me back and apologized because he was wrong. What would happen if I wouldn’t have known that already before I brought it in I did that to see what you guys were gonna say so I could find a new mechanic and that’s exactly what happened you took advantage you tried to take advantage of me and my other cards came in. You didn’t do what you were supposed to do. They came back with the engine light? I would never come back there. All you gave me was the runaround if you remember you guys check this or that or this or that well we’re supposed to, but not everybody does is what you said what does that mean either you do it or you don’t what kind of shop is that? I found a good mechanic now in new Brighton that I can trust and don’t tell me that being a woman had nothing to do with that cause you know I had six cars, you could’ve made a lot of business, but you decided not to by trying to rip me off just like when I brought the truck in remember when the heater somehow went out when you guys were fixed and something else you had to take the fuse out and I had to go get a new heater. What was that the thing underneath the dashboard and you told me it was my problem but it was you guys that were working on something else that this happened with the Honda I could go on and on I could go back and look at the paperwork and tell you exactly more so don’t tell me you guys did not lie. OK this review was late because I didn’t realize I hadn’t done it but anybody could come back to me. I’d be more than happy to show you my paperwork from there see if you guys could figure it out.

  Brought my daughter’s vehicle in to have a fuel issue repaired. They took care of the problem at a very reasonable price! They are very honest there with what’s going on with your vehicle. I’ll definitely be bringing all my vehicles here. Awesome customer service!!

  During a recent time of great turmoil and struggle in life I experienced a breakdown, the kind of soul crushing car issue that leads to an immediate involuntary head flop against the steering wheel and an intensely agonizing gasp of; “oh please; not now.” A buddy suggested HP Auto Repair. “I keep hearing people talk about this place,” he said, “you should go there!" I did, and my time at HP was an elite, top notch, first class experience! I cannot recommend them highly enough! Here are 5 reasons I will keep bringing my vehicle here; #1 – The very first thing is how clean, organized, and professional looking things are. I've been to so many filthy shops and so I was immediately struck by the appearance and pride in ownership. It is very evident they care about their customer experience. #2 – I met the owner Hunter in the office and explained my issue. He was extremely courteous, friendly, and professional, and it was evident right away that he appreciated my business. Being able to patronize a small business and speak directly with the owner is awesome! #3 – In addition to Hunter, his staff was just as kind, courteous, and respectful as he. It is abundantly clear that customer service is paramount here! I love that! #4 – I dropped my truck off right before close on Monday and was back on the road Tuesday afternoon! I did NOT expect that fast of a turnaround, especially since they were busy. That was HUGE for me, as I depend on my vehicle more than most, and the quick turnaround alleviated a tremendous amount of worry from my shoulders. The repair was done promptly and well, and they even went out of their way to inspect other important things which demonstrated to me a genuine concern for my vehicle to run well. It was very evident that the relationship they have with their customers matters. #5 – Lastly, I'm really, really, broke right now. Per that, my most immediate concern when my truck didn't start was; “how on Earth am I going to afford this?” I was very nervous because let's be honest, repair shops are sadly notorious for fleecing people, and you rarely enter expecting to leave with all your arms and legs intact. This was NOT the case here. The shop rates are surprisingly low, much lower than I expected, even lower than rates from a few years ago, and the parts prices are exceedingly reasonable, which is also rare. I expected it to cost a LOT more than it did, and was thrilled at how fair their prices are. How often do you leave a shop thinking, “hey, that wasn't bad!” In my experience, never, LOL. Im confident that these are the best prices around! Overall, Hunter and his staff were cognizant of my struggles, treated me fairly, kindly, and respectfully, and went out of their way to make sure that when I left I would do so minus all the worries I had when I entered. I will be forever grateful for the kindness and care they showed. I can say with full confidence that this was hands down the best repair shop with whom I've ever worked. I'm ecstatic to have found them, and am thrilled know I now have "my shop" where I will always go for repairs! Hunter and his crew are a great people. I want to say a big THANK YOU to them. I encourage anyone out there looking for a shop to make them your choice! I'm a new lifelong customer and fan, and I know that anyone else who goes there will be too. Thanks HP Auto Repair! TL;DR - GREAT small business! Clean location. Elite customer service. Fast turnaround. Best prices in town. Will be a lifelong customer!

  This shop is great, and I would definitely recommend it for any car-related needs. I stopped by today to ask if they could help me change my license plates since the bolts were really tight. I met the new owner who was very kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to help me fix the bolts and put on new license plates, and he did it all free of charge. I will be a customer there going forward! There is also a lovely, amazing dog there who made my day!
