- RMR MOct 15, 20251.0While trying to have the car battery and starter tested at the 2001 28th St, Wyoming AutoZone, today was the second time I was told that the Reader was broken, go to another location. At the other AutoZone store Reader was functional and the courteous employee there did the testing. When I mentioned to the employee that I was sent by the 2001 28th Street location because that store had a broken Reader, I was informed that this has been a trend recently and broken Reader may not be the actual fact - it may be a way to avoid providing the free Reader service. May be AutoZone company needs to look into the facts and provide functioning Readers to the 2001 28th st location if needed. Otherwise just take free checks signs down from the store front so people will stop bothering them.
