  This dealership sold me a Class A motorhome that had been damaged and they poorly repaired. They said it was like that from the factory. I brought it to the factor to get repaired under warranty and was told they had sent parts to General RV over a year ago. So General sold me a damaged coach without disclosing it to me and even worse blaming it on the manufacture quality control. Very rushed walk through at purchase and no after the sale help. Avoid General RV at all cost! The savings if received was not worth it!

  Chris Corbett, service mgr, went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied with the work done and replaced a missing battery cover once discovered. This man is s real professional, dedicated to customer service and satisfaction

  ****unethical ***** After specifically being told by a rep that no matter what- your deposit is refundable until we come to a financial agreement (aka when they run credit for a rate), when I elected not to continue, I told the sales associate and ended the deal- he agreed to refund. Then management called to see if they could put the deal together with a better rate. They did, but I elected not to move ahead and requested my refund (for the third time). Then the management didn't want to refund my deposit after a previous agreement that my deposit was refundable.

  Another remarkable experience here at General RV Wixom! Drake, my service advisor took excellent care of me and kept me informed of the entire process. The winterization process went extremely smoothly and did an inspection of my vehicle and everything checked out. When I brought my vehicle in for summarization back in May of this year Caitlin and Jenna were extremely helpful in making sure that my needs were met. Working with General RV has been a wonderful experience, not only buying here but for all service and maintenance work as well.

  Absolute worst buying and service experience in my 60 years of life! Sales person did not listen at all and kept trying hard sell and pressure in spite of being asked not to out of the gate. I did not do my due diligence on pricing and they took full advantage of that, on me! Turn over took in excess of three hours with only 15 minutes going over camper so we did not know that the 12V system did not work until we tried to camp. Took several trips and a month to fix that. Got some minor body damage in a small accident and that took 7 weeks to fix. Missed most of camping season. On a Friday morning they told me repairs were done for a Friday or Saturday pick up. I pushed out until Monday morning at 9. As i was pulling in to pick up, a service tech called to ask me if i could wait 4-5 more hours to finish repairs they told me were complete the week before. The only bright spots were the parts sales desk and Amanda the service advisor. I will never spend money with General RV again and have already bought a significant upgrade from Bish's RV in Coldwater and that has been a great experience!
