What most people don’t realize is the uphill battle these local branches face every single day. They don’t truly know what inventory they’ll have until they open their systems in the morning—meanwhile, reservations were made weeks in advance through a national system that isn’t aligned with local reality. Cars get extended unexpectedly, returned late, or pulled for maintenance—creating a constant domino effect. Despite that, this team handles stressful, often impossible situations with grace, empathy, and professionalism. They hustle behind the scenes—calling other locations, coordinating vehicles, even providing courtesy rides—just to take care of customers. It’s organized chaos, and they manage it better than anyone. They don’t make excuses, they don’t pass blame—they simply do everything they can to make it right, often offering solutions or discounts when appropriate. These are hardworking, customer-focused professionals doing an incredibly difficult job with a positive attitude. This particular Waterford branch is a standout and truly sets the standard for Southeast Michigan
