2+ Months to Receive a Proper Diagnosis (Honestly, Even That’s Generous)
I dropped off my truck in early September after an accident. I picked it up in late September and immediately started having issues with my parking sensor, a problem that did NOT exist before the repair.
I was told to bring it back in and dropped it off again the week before Thanksgiving. From that point on, communication was terrible. I was constantly told I would get a call back, and rarely ever did. Then I was told they had to send it to a third-party shop. After three weeks of being told they “couldn’t recreate the problem,” I picked up my truck in the second week of December (returned to me on E) and within five minutes, I recreated the issue myself.
I contacted the shop again and, once more, was told I’d get a call back that never came. Finally, a manager reached out to try to resolve things. I brought the vehicle back on December 29th and was given the runaround between taking it to a dealer and having a so-called “special team” come out to look at it. It then took another full month just to get a proper diagnosis, only to be told it wouldn’t be covered by insurance.
To be clear: I understand the issue not being covered by insurance. That is NOT why this is a 1-star review. This is a 1-star review because the communication at this shop is absolutely horrid.
I intentionally waited to leave this review so I could see how everything played out and give an honest account of the entire experience.
** 4 MONTHS DEALING WITH THIS SHOP, 3 MONTHS TO GET A PROPER DIAGNOSIS**
I would not recommend this shop to anybody, based on communication alone.

Worst customer service. Took them almost 4 months for a job that was "done" in 2 weeks. They could not get the paint correct without flaws. Was told it was done 4 different times, and it was still messed up. They even sent it to another location with the same results. I would recommend a can of spray paint over this entire franchise. Customer service was a joke. Management was never available and would regularly not return phone calls.

We had such a pleasant experience ay Gerber Collision in Washington, MI. The office girls Kim and Paige were so nice and helpful in person and on phone. Antonio who estimated the work was awesome. He kept us informed at every step of repairs. Antonio was very professional and excellent with customer relations. Gerber completed the work days sooner than expected and it looked great. We highly recommend Gerber in Washington. We give them a 10 star rating. Thanks to all the hard workers.

Great experience from beginning to end. Their communication throughout the process of fixing the damage to my car was great. They even got it done early! The final product looks great. Highly recommend them.
