Very bad experience here. First of all the salesman at this dealership use deceptive practices to misrepresent used vehicle conditions. I’d be very wary coming here it’s happened to multiple people. There should be an option for negative stars. Not content with the services or quality they’ve delivered. Do better.

Edit: Received a call back the next day, and got in touch with Volvo service, and was able to get some questions answered. —— I called for a service appt Nov 6, 2025. Service rep said he'd call back in 30 mins. Why the wait? No idea. 4+ hours later I get a call back from someone else. This same interaction took place in Feb 2025.

Bought my Volvo at Serra Volvo Cars of Traverse City. Relocated to the Metro and called to schedule service here. Had an issue speaking correctly, hey I'm human right, and the condescending guy on the phone didn't give me time to say what I wanted correctly. Just reeked of urban snobbery and gross chauvinistic behavior. Made me feel really unwelcome and uncomfortable. I could be a customer that has a speech impairment but alas the world is so judgmental and discriminatory. I will try Farmington Hills, I suppose! Or maybe I need to service my car back in TC where they are friendlier?

Be wary of this dealership when buying a vehicle, I purchased a used car from this dealership and while the buying process appeared to be smooth. This dealership used deceptive practices to misrepresent the cars service history. When I took the car to get a pre purchase inspection they placed a sticker on the engine stating that the timing belt had been serviced this year at 126k on the dash, the auto shop was aware of this sticker and a witness when I lifted up the hood in front of the dealership. I came back later to purchase the vehicle that same day under the assumption that the vehicle timing belt had been serviced. When I got home two days later I realized that the sticker was removed from the engine so I emailed the dealership to asks why the sticker was removed and asked when the timing belt was serviced they stated it hadn’t been changed since 2017, which is over 8 years ago. With the service interval being 10 years, replacing it in 2035 is far different than replacing it in 2 years. They simply stated that “it won’t need to be changed again until 2027” I asked why did they misrepresent the vehicle and I asked are they willing to give me a service credit and they refused to do so, and simply stopped responding to my email. I am pursuing legal avenues as I have picture proof that there was a sticker placement on the hood with multiple witnesses. the management team is untrustworthy.
