I brought my car in for body work after it was in a minor hit a run in a parking garage. When I got my car back the back doors were completely broken and off the track and the tracks were hanging out the sides. Some background I have a 2011 Honda Odyssey van and the back doors on it are automatic and don’t open manually and also are extremely easy to open oh and they worked when I dropped it off. I called the shop immediately and they promised to fix it. I couldn’t bring it in until I payed the deductible on it so fast forward I call to schedule it in and I’m promised that a manager will be in on Monday at 2. When I got there the manager wouldn’t talk to me they were “busy” and I was told that an insurance adjuster would have to come out and confirm that the damage was due to the accident. I immediately said no you broke the doors that was extremely clear they worked perfectly fine when I dropped them off I have an LLC and I vended an event right before that and my WORK vehicle was in perfect order. They proceeded to tell me that there is nothing they could do the general manger would have to look at it the next day with the insurance adjuster. So I left my car and the next day I called the shop to talk to the general manger he told me that they did a pre check of the car before it came in and the doors were working but that one was sticking slightly. So he then explained that because it was quote “normal wear and tear on the vehicle” that it would have happened anyways so it’s not there fault and they can’t be liable for it. I won’t lie at that point I got quite mad my doors are automatic and you shouldn't have to pull on them at all you should never open them manually how would you know it’s sticking unless u opened it manually and I’ve never had an issue with them so I can guarantee that they would not have broken later when I took it home because I do not open the doors manually. Then in the most condescending tone I’ve ever heard the general manager said well then why does the van have handles on the doors if there not supposed to open manually. I told him that I did not know why they designed the car this way all I know is that if u very lightly with little to no pressure lift up the handle the door opens automatically so it’s not used like a traditional handle it is literally a fancy button. He went on to outright refuse to fix my car. I spoke to the insurance adjuster and she said that I should take it to the dealership in town and have them do an inspection of the doors I agreed and am taking it on Saturday. I will update this post once I know but I’ve looked through my user manual asked the internet asked chat gpt asked professionals and the adjuster and they all say that my doors should have been fixed by now for free. Long story short I’m 23 years old and a female and if I was a middle aged white male with a diesel truck my truck would be fixed right now so I will have to wait for my dad to get home maybe they will listen to him.

I was in my first ever accident in October 2025, and was very uncertain of the process, who could help, and what to do, all while managing the mental challenges associated with the accident itself. A family member recommended Sonny's, and luckily they worked with my insurance. When I reached out everyone was so friendly, asking me how I was and set up a day-of estimate appointment which was a miracle for me due to my work hours. They were able to schedule me in about two weeks after my accident as luckily my vehicle was still drivable. They estimated two weeks for the repairs, but it was ready after about 7 Business Days, so much sooner than expected! They also detailed the inside of the car which was an unexpected surprise. I'm very happy with their work and the experience I had with them. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to have work done for their vehicle. As for the pricing, they worked through my insurance so I only paid my deductible, and it was a very smooth process on my end.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with sonny's body shop. I had an accident in my 2023 last call challenger- my dream car, I was bummed. Insurance told me sonny's was highly rated and a preferred shop, so I made the drive over to TC and got my work done here, they were fast, communicated well, cleaned my ENTIRE car inside and out, cleaned up my trash in the back seat, neatly packed my spare clothes and other spilled and tossed about belongings into a sonny's body shop bag, and performed the work on both the engine bay damage and cosmetic damage, they were very swift and always kind. Highly recommend this place, and will absolutely continue to recommend them for a long time to come. Thank you for your amazing work! Attached are before and after pictures.
