  The car smelled of smoke. Upon pick up it was just a slight smell, more chemically but I was late due to flight delays so didn’t have time to lug my bags back inside to request a new vehicle. As the trip went on and the cleaner smell went away the smoke smell came out of hiding and was horrible by day 2, bad enough that I used Ubers or car pooled with coworkers for the week I had the rental. Sad this vehicle was even offered as a rental to begin with and then more disappointment when I was offered a measly $40 discount for the service error.

  National is my go-to for car rentals. Super easy from reservations all the way to return. Well run company with great customer service.

  The pickup and return process was quick and efficient. The representatives were friendly and easy to communicate with. I also received a complimentary upgrade, which made my trip even more enjoyable.
