March 28 we stopped by the store and noticed a white car right outside the door in a handicap spot with no handicap plate or placard. My husband got my walker for me and I went in and used the facilities. Got to the door and asked the not so friendly cashier what she knew about that car. Uh, what car? She asked. I said The white one RIGHT HERE with no handicap plate or placard. Oh! That's mine. I was late for work! I turned to go out the door and she quipped Sorry, hon! I called today to talk to the manager and told her what happened. Got basically the same reaction from her. Folks, there are enough gas stations in Standish that we handicappers DON'T have to use this one that allows their lazy employees to break the law at THEIR business because they're too shiftless to get to work on time. If I could give a minus rating, I would.

8/10 times i have an amazing experience there are some amazing workers there but today i went through the drive through (mind you i’m in a boot so it is hard for me to go in and out of the car let alone walking long distances) now i’ve come here for almost two years i get an ice water give them the change and everything is good but today there was a very disrespectful old woman with white hair. i pulled up to the window and waited a second because there were a couple cars so i waited for a couple to leave so they weren’t as busy i ring the bell and she answers i nicely ask can i have 2 44 ounce ice waters please and in a rude tone back she says if you can’t come in and get waters you need to pay for a fountain pop price. i explained i’m in a boot so it makes it difficult and she looks at my friend in the car and says you have someone else that could come in and get them. (if you don’t want to do the job you applied for with the fountain machine right next to you DO NOT apply) had a similar thing with the guy named brad he stopped me outside of me going to physical therapy and told me how annoying it is when i stop to get waters (i always come when there is like no one) and i explained again as he could clearly see i was in a boot and he continued to go on about how annoying and “inconvenient” it was. i will no longer be coming here. i will pay more somewhere else then get treated poorly by staff when i come through for a water on a hot day.
