When i had a battery test bad on my $3000 scanner with testingand then not charge above 70% on 3 chargers I bought a new one and explained everything. The manager told me the old battery tested good on their end and they can’t exchange it. Been working on cars my whole life, I knew it was the battery, cars been running great since. Really disappointed ever since the new management took over, this is it I’m done going here. I appreciate the reply I’m still out $200 lol

- CGCrockett's GarageJan 24, 20261.0Guy behind the counter was not interested in helping at all. I came in and asked for some 1/2" Bumper Bolts. One woman told me to look down the aisle with bolts. Nothing. So the guy behind the counter asked, "YR/MAKE/MODEL?" I told him my Yr/make/model, but I also said that bumper bolts are from Dorman and fairly generic, only 2 sizes. He just said, "we don't have any". I asked, did you just look up generic term bumper bolts, "Yep, don't have them". Came home. looked online, they are in-stock in Whitmore Lake.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
