Van Dyke and 26 mile store -Couldn’t find a worse auto parts guy working at the store than this guy. Last night my wife and daughter went there to buy an oil filter and oil for the daughter’s first oil change on a new car. She told him the make model and engine size. Gives her the filter and tells her it takes 6.2 qts of oil.
Gets to my house and it’s the wrong filter. She takes it back and he says I was expecting you. We didn’t have the correct filter in stock and the one I gave you was listed as an optional choice, and I didn’t think it was right but gave it to you anyway, expecting you to come back. Admits to knowingly selling her the wrong item and wasting her time. Could have told her he had doubts about the filter so she could have gone somewhere else before closing, but no, that would have been helpful and considerate, and that should obviously be avoided. They are one block from my house but you will never catch me at this Auto Zone after that.
Told us 6.2qts of oil and it turned out to be 4.8. Guy just made crap up and she unfortunately trusted him. Had to drain out 1/2 qt only. You hire people this bad or malicious, not sure which, you don’t deserve customers.

I had went to this AutoZone to check on my car battery, and it turned out that I had to get a new one, and Trever was very helpful in picking and installing a new battery. It was all done very quickly and I will definitely be coming back in the future for anything else I might need. Highly recommend this location!

Folks working there seem to clueless. Parts I was looking for it didn't even come up on the computer according to the person assisting me.

I love this location for the fast and friendly service. I am always greeted at the door and asked if I need help locating anything. The store manager Jeff always goes above and beyond to help not only customers but also his staff with any questions they may have with their customer. Well done Auto zone, thank you for being my go to store.

Went into the store to get an oil filter wrench. Didn’t realize that there were different sizes. Asked employee to look up the oil filter size for my car so I knew which size to get. He looked puzzled but eventually looked it up. He walked back and came up with a wrench head that obviously connected to something else such as a socket wrench. I asked him what this wrench had connected to to make sure that it was something that I had at home. After going back-and-forth with him about it for a while, he finally told me that he didn’t know what it connected to. I was obviously frustrated and asked him if he worked at an auto parts store why he couldn’t help me figure out what parts I needed. I tried to explain to him yet again, and he proceeded to tell me that I didn’t tell him What type of wrench I was looking for. I took the wrench head and walked back to the other options and found a handled one on my own. When I went back up to the checkout, I apologize to him and told him I didn’t mean to be rude to him that I was just having a very frustrating day and that it was frustrating to me that an employee at a store like that couldn’t help me. I paid to the wrench and as I walked out the other employee who was actually standing there the entire time and never offered any help, hollered as I walked out the door that not many AutoZone employees know anything about auto parts. I responded that was quite obvious! Needless to say, I am not only disappointed in the lack of knowledge when I needed help and the general Poor customer service, I’m also disappointed that this other employee felt the need to yell at me as I was walking out the store. It not only makes me never want to go back to this particular store. It makes me never want to go to AutoZone again, because clearly your employees have very little respect for the place that they work. Needless to say, I won’t be back to that store and will probably be taking my business elsewhere not to an AutoZone in the future.
