- LCLogan CataneseApr 21, 20261.0The younger gentleman with yellow tinted glasses has absolutely no passion or clue what he's talking about yet still says it with confidence. It's an embarrassment when I come into your establishment and I'm told Ford doesn't make or sell a specific windshield washer hose when it's clearly visible on his screen and I have the part number documented. This isn't the first time I've had this happen and I will not let it happen again. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I feel this is necessary for management to see as I no longer want to do business here.

I definitely will be coming back for him, but try to never deal with the “manager” Brian. He had to be one of the rudest people in customer service I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with, not to mention got me a part for a completely different vehicle and once I had pointed it out he had hassled me about it being “right” even though I had the CORRECT part number on paper.

I asked again for the cheapest windshield wipers, and he pretended to be searching. I know for a fact he's been there some years. He is not a new employee. Then the newer employee came from behind the counter & said yes we do. Then the older employee said" oh yes here they are". I was insulted for 2 reasons, 1. Not listening to a woman/ customer. Take your pick!! 2. For insulting my intelligence, because I knew it was cheaper windshield wipers. I paid $14.99 a pair. I will start back going to Auto Zone or O'reilly's Auto.

Does Advance Auto test and install batteries?
Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
