Dropped it off because of some shaking in my steering wheel when I brake going over 40mph and I had mentioned to them a previous knocking sound that was coming and going in my engine. They came back with an entire list of issues… - bad/warped brake rotors, Brake pad replacement, Leaking rear shocks, Battery supposedly going bad, and they said 5/6 cylinders were misfiring. First of all I had my shocks replaced fairly recently. Secondly I didn’t even ask them to check my battery. I even went to autozone right after and they tested my battery and said it was good… This place was trying to charge me 2421 for all of this work. When I told them it was very high, they tried to negotiate, like why wouldn’t they have given me their best price to begin with?!? They even asked for my last 4 of social security for “over the phone verification” NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAD A CAR SHOP ASK FOR THIS!! Very sketchy, this is when I really got a bad gut feeling and said screw it and told them I didn’t want anything done and that I was coming in to get my car. Didn’t trust them not to ruin my car. Definitely seemed like they were trying to overcharge and pull one over on me.
