We reserved a vehicle a month in advance, but when we arrived to pick it up, there were no trucks available at the designated location. It took quite a while to reach a helpful representative and even longer to get the issue resolved. As a result, we lost almost a full day of packing, which threw off our tight schedule. To their credit, the company did offer a discount for the major inconvenience. Unfortunately, the truck’s roof leaked during rain, soaking several boxes in the truck bed. Thankfully, we used double-walled boxes, but some were still sopping wet. We later learned that this can happen since the roof material is canvas. If you’re transporting items during rainy weather, I’d recommend covering everything with a tarp just in case.
