- LLLindseyJan 2, 20261.0In April 2025, an employee convinced me to buy the top of the line car battery for $200+ because it usually lasts longer. Well here I am January 2026 and the battery is already bad. I took it in to replace under warranty and the guy didn’t even test the battery just gave us a new one off some recycled shelf saying it might be junk too. The last battery I had in my car was from Autozone and lasted 5+ years so I thought I’d just get the same branded one and thought that paying more at Autozone is worth it than Walmart but looks like Walmart is the winner for all future vehicle batteries.
