- LGLouise Gibson6 days ago5.0Andrew and the team went far "above and beyond" with our truck repair. After the restoration was completed, he noticed that the overall appearance of our vehicle would be significantly enhanced by completing the cosmetic detailing (pin stripe) of the truck's surface. This went far beyond the location of the accident repair. He made the suggestion, in case we were interested. We chose this additional work. His charge was EXTREMELY reasonable. And...it was worth it! In everything, Gerber Collision in Rockford was kind, diligent, and followed through — always ahead of schedule! In the end, we felt they treated our vehicle as if it were their own!!!!

- NONicholas OldsSep 8, 20251.0NO. I have worked in the automotive industry for almost 19 years now. I do not recommend this shop. Terrible workmanship. Bad body work, bad paint work. I had a fender and 3 doors repaired on my truck. From start to I finally give up, was about 48 days. First time I picked it up was after hours. Truck was in a shady area when I got it. Seemed okay. Got home and parked in the sunlight. Every panel they worked on was terrible. Dirt and paint runs. Not just a couple, A LOT! Dents were half a_ _ repaired. Welded a fender tab on the truck. Looked like it was held on by bubble gum. New fender body lines did not match up with the rest of the truck. Like a 1/4 inch low on matching the body lines. Running boards were covered in some slimy oily something???? Interior was immaculate when I dropped it off. Covered in dust, sticky residue everwhere when i picked it up. I had to take a day off work to return my truck. 2nd time, same deal. More runs/dirt and dents still not fixed. 3rd time, still dirt in the new fender plus my fenderwell was not attached. It was just floating around in there. Missing all the clips. My new wheels looked like someone poured or sprayed oil all over them. I tried so hard to be understanding and polite through all of this. I got nothing but inconvenienced throughout the entire process. I live 35 minutes one way from this shop and had made several trips for all of this. Now I have my truck that Im not satisfied with. I will fix it the rest of the way myself. NOT IMPRESSED GERBER. I just can't recommend this place to anyone. 180 miles traveled and a lost days work plus personal time that I just dont have much of.

They kept us updated on where they were at in the process every step of the way. I am not sure if they always detail vehicles when they are finished working on them, but that was a nice added surprise! Would highly recommend them and we will return for future business with them!
