    Will and Corey have always helped me with my rentals. Great guys. The vehicles are nice and it's super easy to rent through them. I had to modify my reservation a few times the last rental period and they were happy to help. I will return to Enterprise Okemos the next time I need to rent a car.

    We just rented a car and drove from Okemos to Tysons, VA. Because I’ve had consistently positive experiences with Enterprise, I gave the car a quick once over before we started driving. However, the next morning, we were informed that the front fender was “misaligned.” We experienced no incidents on the road and heard no unusual sounds. Fortunately, we bought the insurance, so I hope it will be a non-issue, but next time, I will be taking photos and videos to avoid being charged for damage we did not do. I would encourage anyone renting from here to document the condition of the car beforehand in order to avoid erroneous charges.

    My insurance company made the reservation. When I called the local branch he told me it holds it for when I am ready to come in. I came in the next day and she told me it just holds it in the system but doesn't actually reserve or guarantee us a car. She found us something (a Hyundai Tuscan) but we had to wait for it to be cleaned. No biggie. We walk around the car checking for damages, she doesn't make note of any of them, not sure why. Moving on... On the way home I discovered that only one tire was properly inflated, there was a change engine oil light on, and the horn didn't work. I called and let them know about the horn. I didn't worry about the check oil light because this happened to me before in an Enterprise rental and they told me they sometimes forget to reset the light. Anyways, she offered to swap it out with something but I told her I was at work and it wouldn't be today. She said she would make a note of it and if I wanted to swap it to let them know. This was on a Friday. Friday night I thought it seemed like the vehicle was 'dogging' a bit and running rough. Come Saturday morning, I get ready to go out and run errands and see a huge puddle under the car. I get a paper towel to check the color and its brown. Probably oil. Great. Okemos location is already closed by the time I figure this out, it is just after 12:30 at this point. I was without a car for a day and a half, which is not Okemos's fault (this is a whole other horrible screwed up story on the way things are handled on the corporate customer service end). BUT what they should be checking is BASIC safety features, like horn, lights, tires, oil... this leak was NOT small. It was dripping very quickly. I was unable to do anything planned all of Saturday and all of Sunday morning. It took the towing company 4 hours to pick up the car. I talked to their roadside about 17 times over a several hour span. I tried to call locations that are open to find a car because they almost sent me to a location that had none available (apparently customer service cannot see what has been rented, but they won't do the work to ensure there is one), and I even called Enterprise headquarters to ask for a manager and they told me someone would call me within a few hours. I never heard anything. I live near nothing and was stranded. My family gone for the weekend. Come Sunday, husband is home from his trip and took me to Flint branch where they said they would have something available. They put me in a very basic, compact Mitsubishi Mirage. Interior is scratched and dirty. The car sounds terrible, I could barely make it on the highway in front of a vehicle where there was only one lane coming back due to construction because the car would not get up and go, and shakes at stop signs. My teens do not fit in the back seat. My nerves are completely shot at this point because of what I have been through. Monday I call Okemos branch again and give them a brief update about what has happened and they say they will swap out the car. The covering manager completely took care of me. She did explain they just clean them and flip them and don't have them very long. I understand, they are porters, but they can do simple light, horn, lugnuts, inflation checks and with how badly this thing was leaking fluid... it probably left a puddle there too. I am updating my review to 4 stars because she rectified the situation for me to some degree. Enterprise headquarters needs to work on their disconnect between local branch and them. There will be an entirely separate review for them.
