- LBLucas BuccilliOct 31, 20251.0I reserved a luxury extended suv a month ago. They called me the day before I scheduled to pickup saying they didn’t have any of those vehicles on the lot. They offered me a smaller suv or a minivan, and that if I called back in the morning they may be able to get one from another lot. When I called, they said they couldn’t get one but they had a Tahoe. I said that would work, they said it needed to be cleaned, so my pickup time was moved 2 hours later, not a big deal. They called a little later and said they were selling the Tahoe, and would prefer to not rent it to me. I ended up settling on the minivan, which is not ideal since we have 4 adults and 2 babies with all of our luggage and strollers. If they had told me a month ago they wouldn’t be able to get the car I reserved from them I would have arranged something else. But instead they waited until the day before and left me with a vehicle that I believe is going to be too small.
