I showed up carrying a quite-heavy alternator for a test and a young male staff with fluffy hair, baseball cap, and eye glasses (I wish I knew his name!) told me they can’t run a test for an aftermarket part even if we can provide them the year and model the vehicle we took it from! So, this entire trip was such a waste of time. The next day l called O’Reilly and their staffs tried their best to run it for me and it passed! There’s a fine line between “can’t do it” and “don’t wanna do it” for a customer! Unfortunately, as a female customer, I received the latter attitude from that boy! I have no more reason to return to this store ever again.

I had an issue with a return for parts I ended up not needing and within 10 minutes of my first phone call, he was on it and told me to come in and finish up the return. He completely turned my day around and definitely should see a raise in his future. Thank you William for the best customer service a girl could ask for!

Took a lifetime warranty item that under warranty and returned it as a core without tell me for $ 11 me out of $2XX and did not tell me with their poor organization and poor communication and did bring reciept of such for a month. And the alternator was already gone at this time. If they weren't going to warranty the item for whatever reason I would never have gave it to him for a car charge but it was too late it was already gone. I would suggest business elsewhere. I've had an account with advanced auto for more than 10+ years.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
