- BPBelinda PerryDec 29, 20251.0Noticed one of my tires had a bald spot and wired sticking out. So I went to Belletire in Madison Heights. I have always went to Belle tire in Woodhaven, Mi. They are awesome there. I moved and thought the Madison Heights one would be just as good. I went in asked if they could change my tire. I had a good spare fixed by the Belletire in Woodhaven. The made said yes we can change it but we would have to charge you 35.00 for balancing. I said ok I ll be back tomorrow I have to get the money. I am on disability and I ll have to barrow it. I dont want to ride around and have it go flat I have my 4 year old grandson with me alot. So I came back the next day. Talked to an arrogant guy and said I was here yesterday one of your men quoted me 35.00. Then he said nope it will be fifty. I said I was told yesterday 35.00. He looked at me and said sorry. He said go to Firestone maybe they will help you. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THEM EVER.

Belle Tire did the right thing by taking full responsibility and correcting their mistake immediately, free of charge. I appreciate their accountability and quick response. However, the mistake itself was huge: they installed ONE tire in the wrong size on my AWD vehicle. That single error caused symptoms that imitated major transmission failure. I spent days thinking my car was dying, visited shops, and endured massive anxiety — all because of the wrong tire being put on. I’m satisfied with how they resolved it, but the mental stress and what it almost cost me cannot be ignored. If I hadn’t sought a second opinion, I could have spent thousands chasing a problem that wasn’t real. Belle Tire did make it right, but I truly hope they improve attention to detail moving forward — this mistake could have financially destroyed someone else.

An employee here told me their machine was broken but he could inflate my tires if I pulled up to a bay door. I did so and he inflated my tires to the correct PSI. I thought that was great customer service so I just wanted to leave a review stating that.
